She wouldn't have been me either. I alway keep a fully loaded baseball bat beside the door. And I always knew how to use it. Still do.
I do know how to shoot a gun - although I am more at home with a shotgun than a handgun. I just don't like them. Never did.
But if having a gun in the house keeps one young woman from being raped and/or murdered why on earth would anyone want to keep her from protecting herself? I don't get that thinking. Never did. Never will.
