I went shopping today for pet treats for my dog at the local CVS pharmacy. I bought the following pet treats: Savory Prime Chicken Breast Fillets Chicken Jerky for Dogs
Ruffin It, Chompen It Duck Tenders
Purina Wagging Train (exposed to the irradiation process, a process which I find highly questionable)
When purchasing them they all looked like they would be safe and nutritious to give to my dog, but when I got home and really examined the packages I found out they were all made in China. I can't believe any store knowing of the health problems including fatalities connected with feeding your pet any pet food or treats made in China would have the audacity to still sell these items.
This makes me wonder if CVS buys medicinal products made in China because of the cheaper pricing as well which could also have the same ill effects on people. Today most corporations only care about their bottom line more than the health and wellbeing of their customers
Don't be fooled by the labeling in back that lists the distributor as being from America. MAKE SURE IT IS NOT MADE IN CHINA. CHINA IS NOT OUR FRIEND NOR OUR PETS' FRIEND. If you find the pet treat made in China refuse to buy it and tell the manager the reason why. These stores should know better, particularly when they know of the ill effect these products have had on pets.
Therefore, please, please check where your pet food or treat comes from and if from China REFUSE TO BUY IT. Our pets deserve better even if it costs a little more to buy the made in America product
