I didn't know much about Mike Pence except what little I did know. I believe he's a good choice. No one, at least no I've heard, has said this, but Newt or Christie wouldn't/couldn't attract female voters, Pence, I believe can, even being a staunch conservative. I don't believe that's the reason he was chosen. He seems to compliment Mr. Trump quite well, but he is good looking. As a woman, he does appeal to me more than Hillary's cackling....I remember when Bush was elected, the 2nd one, and I felt better about him knowing that a seasoned guy like Chaney was going to be around, even tho' I really didn't like Chaney. Maybe women, for instance, might feel better about Donald having a more even keeled voice with him such as Pence. So, we'll see. I remember last election we here really thought Obama would lose. Of course, he didn't, and once again, I dare to hope the same about Hillary. If she wins, we are doomed. Donald Trump is hope....I still have more than a glimmer left of hope. Go Trump/Pence...my heart is rooting very hard!!!!

We are all rooting very hard! One plus, Pence has better hair...lol. I wasn't thrilled with the choice, but then listening to him on Hannity, I believe he is the perfect balance for Trump. I always have seen Newt as Chief of Staff. We all need to do our part to make sure Trump gets in the WH. The opposition is scared, as they are throwing everything they can think of at Trump. I truly believe Donald J. Trump is the best hope for America!

I, too, like Newt, however, if he took Newt, Bill Clinton's womanizing, and even more, Hillary's 'bimbo' response, couldn't be used against her as Newt has some background of how he married his current wife. I am now hoping that no one gets hurt or even worse, killed, at the coming convention but very looking forward to it. Pence's wife on Saturday, looked kinda frightened.You'd think she'd be used to limelight with him being a Governor but I'm sure we'll get to know her as well. I also love that Pence's son is a Marine. Their ties on stage and on 60 minutes were even coordinated. Trump being slightly taller I think they make a good pair. GO TRUMP!!!
